Barn Burn

Barn Burn,byWilliam Faulker is about the main character a boy,and his family.He his mother,father,older brother,and his two sisters.His father is proud,prideful, independent, individual he also speaks with conviction without looking at the facts.When his father went to court for burning a barn,he aimed for him to tell a lie.The jjudge knew that he was guilty but he couldn't only go with his visceral (gut feeling),so he tells him"take your wagon and get out of this country before dark'',(2 Faulkner).When they were outside,his father hit him in the face two times his mother tried to help him up but his father screamed at her for doing so.After that depressing moment,he told him to''Get in the wagon''harshly,(2 Faulkner).When they were on there quest,his father endup stepping on horse manure and in anger he wipes it on a white rug.When the owner came back,he was full of rage.The next day he went to court, and he was sued twenty bushels of corns against his crop. His son tried to comfort him by saying "If he wanted it hit done different why didn't he wait and tell you how?'',(7 Faulkner).At the end he escape doing labor for his father's mistake,but while he ran without looking back,he heard gun shots and he thought about his parents.
