The Most Dangerous Game

The Most Dangerous Game is a short story, but it is quite long! Even though the story was long it was very interesting, and the story was full of suspense. I would suggest that the story's mood is fearful and determined, because the general reveals that he hunts people. When people are being hunted by the general, they start to feel a rise of fear. The mood is determined because the general is persistent to catch Rainsford, and Rainsford is determined to be free. In the end,Rainsford was free because the general didn't catch him, and Rainsford decided to kill the general before he left the house. Also, Rainsford knew what it felt like to be a huntiee instead of a hunter, so he changed the way he thought about the animals he hunted.
