"Searching For Summer"

I felt that in "Searching For Summer" the author wanted for the readers to have to think hard and analyze the text. For example the author mentioned the banning of bombs. But the author didn't say why the bombs were bombed. He just basically said that the sunshine never came out ever since the bombs were thrown. So I think that its interesting how the author words things and lets the reader think instead of just giving it away.

My favorite part of the story was when the couple met the Hatching's. It was mysterious while being a happy part of the story. It was because it was mysterious how though William is or was blind but he found twice as many beans than the unvisually impaired people. Also it was happy because the couple finally found what they were looking for and brought joy to a very nice probably loely pair of elderly people.
